We are a congregation of the Apostolic Faith Mission of South Africa, an evangelical and Pentecostal denomination founded in 1908, in Johannesburg. We seek to be a caring community in the service of Jesus Christ for the whole person. We want to reach out to the community around us, nurture, equip and mobilise believers for service according to the gifts and talents divinely given and inherent in them.
Our congregation emerged from the evangelistic labour of Rev James Tyobeka who, in 1930, reported about his efforts in the Old Top Location. As we approach our hundredth year of existence (in 2030), we thank the Lord for Rev J Tyobeka, Rev S. Mlotshwa, Rev P Mtsweni, Rev S Otwang, Rev D Nthoroane and Rev T Mofokeng, who have led us.
We believe that those called to Christ and saved by him constitute his church; That the Spirit empowers the church to acts of service; And that Scripture, inspired by God, teaches, rebukes, corrects and instructs the church unto perfection.

Join us for our Wednesday evening prayer session at 17:30 at Jubilee Centre. Or ask the office for the elderly sisters' prayer session every Wednesday at 11:00. Alternatively, join a sisters' WhatsApp prayer group session on Thursdays at 19:00 to 20:00.

Join us on Sundays for a theologically and culturally engaging Bible ministry by our pastor, Rev T Mofokeng, and guest preachers. Our pulpit ministry is mostly expository and, therefore, often series-based.
